Former District Director of SBDC Brings Broad Experience Guiding Business Owners

In her role, first as a consultant for the University of Georgia’s Small Business Development Centers, and then as District Director responsible for
metro Atlanta and
Prior to Jones’ tenure with the SBDC, she co-owned Liller Neal, Inc., a $20 million, independent marketing and advertising agency with clients in the food, technology, entertainment, and manufacturing industries.
“As a business owner and consultant, Lydia has first-hand knowledge of the many challenges that face small business owners as they grow and then transition their companies,”said C. In addition to consulting responsibilities at the SBDC, Jones developed and presented numerous programs on the topics of succession/exit planning, corporate compliance, and equity/lender financing. Furthermore, in response to a request by a major chemical manufacturer, she presented programs to industry groups in major cities across the United States, including Chicago, Dallas, Sacramento, Philadelphia, and Newark.
